"Tighten Up At The Disco" sees GU tighten up in the studio as he tweaks the dynamics of Archie Bell & The Drells '68 stunner. We fast forward to '74 to find Glenn adding his magic to the epic groove of Eumir Deodato's pre film score making "Havana Strut". Next stop: '77. Here GU subverts Marsha Hunt with great vocal overlaps, Hammond clarity and more oomph in the kick department. Finally we find ourselves back in the 60s for the soul-shaking, horn-heaving, harmony heaven that is his stripped back and rebuilt version of Firebolts' "Hum Along Song".
